Free AI Governance taster workshop

From Complex Rules to Everyday Practice

Thursday, 24 September 2026, 14:30 CEST | Online | 45 minutes | Free

AI is already being used across organisations, often faster than the policies, governance structures and safeguards needed to manage it.

Join AI governance and legal expert Tea Mustać for a free 45-minute session exploring what effective AI governance looks like in practice, what organisations should be thinking about now, and how to start building an approach that is proportionate to your organisation's needs.

You'll also have the opportunity to ask Tea your questions about AI governance and the full Applied AI Governance: From Complex Rules to Everyday Practice programme.

What we will explore

In this introductory session, Tea will look at some of the practical questions organisations are confronting as AI use accelerates.

You'll get an introduction to:

  • Where AI governance gaps commonly emerge as staff and organisations adopt new AI tools;

  • How regulation, including the EU AI Act, translates into practical organisational decisions; and

  • The building blocks of an effective AI governance framework, including risk, accountability, oversight and responsible use.

There will also be time for live Q&A, so bring your own questions and organisational challenges.

Who is it for?

This session is for professionals who make, influence or implement decisions about how AI is used within their organisation.

It is particularly relevant to people working in leadership, legal and policy roles, governance and compliance, IT and digital teams, HR and operations, research and academia, and nonprofit, humanitarian and other public-interest organisations.

No legal, technical or AI-specialist background is required.
